Town Planning Services gets involved in a range of housing projects. At the strategic scale, we promote major sites through the development process to secure allocations in local plans. We also prepare applications for residential development and coordinate the supporting documents that are needed.
As well as dealing with larger housing developments, Town Planning Services also with private individuals looking to either build a new home or extend their existing home. We have particular experience of dealing with proposals for individual, bespoke residential developments. Our work on smaller projects typically involves complex sites where there are a range of different issues. Whether they involve Listed Buildings, are in Conservation Areas or in the Green Belt, we help set out the right approach and pull together the right team to deliver results.
We have recently been involved in numerous proposals for the conversion of existing buildings to residential use under permitted development rights. These have included agricultural buildings and offices.Town Planning Services has experience in the care sector and has gained permission for new care homes and retirement developments.
