Leisure

The leisure industry is extremely diverse, and Town Planning Services has experience across the board.  We are presently advising on a site for a new hotel and helping resolve existing planning constraints on a large venue, which is a Listed Building in the Green Belt and recently secured consent for a new café restaurant delicatessen conversion in a market town.

In the sports sector, we have successfully secured planning permissions to convert vacant warehouses to trampoline parks, gyms and other new facilities.  We are currently involved in a scheme to promote a new rugby facility in the Green Belt.

We have secured planning permission for several community churches seeking changes of use to allow new places of worship to be established.  Issues can be complex and wide ranging, Including car parking assessments and noise impact assessment.

Being recognised for its experience and their ability to present complex issues clearly, Town Planning Services is retained by the Royal Yachting Association and was asked to write their practice guidance to help its members better understand the planning system.
